This CEU bundle provides behavior analysts with an in-depth overview of the research underlying behavior analytic approaches to toilet training for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Learners will review both seminal and contemporary findings on Rapid Toilet Training and related methods, including reinforcement procedures, sit schedules, shaping components, and factors that influence continence outcomes. The content highlights research examining adaptations for diverse learners, strategies explored in the literature for addressing common training barriers, and the relationship between urinary continence and broader developmental and behavioral indicators. Participants will also become familiar with bowel-movement training research. By the end of the bundle, learners will have a strengthened understanding of the empirical foundations, evolution, and current directions of behavior-analytic toileting research.
